    800G OSFP AOC

    800G OSFP AOC is designed for use in 800 Gigabit Ethernet links over 30m. Each of AOC modules has 8 independent electrical input/output channels operating at 106.25Gbps per channel. Each of AOC modules consists of two transmitter/receiver units. The transmitter path of the module incorporates a bi-directional PAM4 retimer ASIC integrated with two 4-channel drivers, 8 externally modulated laser. On the receiver path, 8 photodiodes and two 4-channel TIAs are used, along with a PAM4 retimer. The electrical interface of the module is compliant with the 800GAUI-8 interface and compliant with OSFP MSA.

    The 800G OSFP DR8 transceiver supports up to 500m link lengths over single-mode fiber (SMF) via dual MTP/MPO-12 connectors. This transceiver is compliant with IEE802.3ck, IEEE 802.3cu and OSFP MSA standards. The built-in digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM) allows access to real-time operating parameters. It is suitable for 800G Ethernet, Breakout 2x 400G DR4, Data Center and Cloud Networks.

Digital diagnostics functions are also available via the I2C interface, as specified by the OSFP MSA, to allow access to real time operating parameters. The module has 8 independent electrical input/output channels operating up to 106.25Gbps per channel. This transceiver consists of two transmitter/receiver units, with each operating on a set of 4 wavelengths on the ITU G.694.2 CWDM grid near 1300nm. The transmitter path of the module incorporates a bi-directional PAM4 re-timer ASIC integrated with an 8-channels modulator driver, 8 externally modulated lasers and two optical multiplexers. On the receiver path, two optical de-multiplexers are coupled to 8 photodiodes and two 4-channel TIA arrays, along with the PAM4 re-timer. The electrical interface of the module is compliant with the 800GAUI-8 interface as defined by IEEE 802.3ck, and compliant with OSFP MSA.
